I'm moving soon, and wanted to keep the repair as simple as possible, so I explained my situation to Tyler and he listened and offered the best solution for me. Tyler showed up 15 minutes after returning my call, and got the job efficiently and thoroughly within another 15-20 minutes. I was expecting to pay and arm and a leg, but he got it done for $280!! They say you can get it good and fast, but it won't be cheap. They managed to get all three right and I'm very pleased with the results.

If you ask me, Muhly's is hands down the ONLY option to consider when it comes to garage door services in the Hillsboro area. I had used Muhly's at a... read more previous house in the past, but when my 29 year old door opener in my new house finally gave out, I decided to call around for options to do the replacement. I wish I had trusted my gut and just stuck with Muhly's. The first company that came out (no names, but if you've sourced garage door repairs in the past you probably know who I'm talking about) started with a quote for just the opener replacement that was more than 2x the standard replacement cost. On top of that, they started to upsell me on other replacement parts and services and by the time it was done the quote was over 5x more than what it should have been. Meanwhile I called Muhly's and they were out by 8am the following morning. Shawn had completed the replacement within 2 hours at 1/5th the cost of the other quote. Shawn was courteous and professional and his knowledge and experience almost defied belief. He walked me through the process, answered all of my questions and even provided feedback and guidance on the other "repairs and services" that were quoted from the previous company. In the end I am so glad I went with Muhly's and wish I would have called them first to begin with. If you are ever in need of garage door repair, don't hesitate to call Muhly's. You'll be glad you did.

At my home and also business we use Muhly’s garage doors. Barbie always picks up & is friendly… I can tell she’s smiling on the other end. She... read more even picked up on her vacation on a Saturday night at 6 pm during the holiday season, come to find out from one of her employees. Very knowledgeable and helpful with trouble shooting (my beam got kicked out of alignment… she talked me through and it was fixed.) If she can’t talk me through it she sends someone over ASAP!!! My someone has been Tyler. He is so sweet and trustworthy. He knows exactly what he’s doing. I let him take care of things when I wasn’t home. He needed to move my car… I said the keys are in it. One night I was all ready to go with arms loaded so I hit the garage door to open with my elbow. It only went up a few inches. Ugh! I disengaged the garage door so I could open it manually but it wouldn’t budge. I called an uber and while I waited I called Barbie thinking I would leave a message. She picked up! She had Tyler over the next morning and he determined my spring had broke. He ordered one and had it installed within 3 days. They also do great work with large commercial garage doors! I wouldn’t use anyone else than Muhly’s Garage doors for my home or business. They are fair, straightforward and honest. I am so grateful for them!
